Our History

Victory Bible Church began in the living room of a kind couple on the second Sunday in November, 1979. The attendance at this initial meeting was 18. Shortly thereafter, the church was organized and incorporated. The first four years saw some growth in spite of several moves to different locations, finally settling in a store front on Blue Street.

In June, 1984, a new building was occupied at the current location on West Smith Avenue. At the time of this move the church voted to become an Independent Baptist Church in doctrine and policy. God has blessed our church over the years by giving us a growing congregation and seeing many souls come to Christ. Since that time the property has been expanded to 13 acres with beautiful facilities. God has allowed us to be involved in the support of many missionaries and evangelistic ministries.
